BIMS BLOCK
The Bims Block is used to fill in around the concrete frame. This is a superior quality of brick. The raw material used in the
manufacture of the Bims Block is pumice, cement and water. The raw materials are then processed to provide a building material with a large quantity of air pores-aerated concrete, termed the (Autoclaved ,Aerated Concrete) AAC.
The Bims AAC has exceptional product properties, such as excellent sound and thermal insulation, low material weight, ease of workability and handling. As a result, one of it's main benefits is safety.
Along with its elasticity and durability against earth tremors, and being Fire proof, the Bims Block AAC has excellent adhesive properties when rendering walls. It is also a known fact that the Bims Block also has other properties such as the preservation of the natural dampness of the interior atmosphere, thus not driying off the
air, which could result in breathing difficulties with some people, as may be the case with other building materials. It is considered therefore the Bims Block AAC is an
environmentally friendly product.
The Bims Block AAC constructions are insect and termite proof, therefore there is no need for expensive insect and pesticide treatment.
The Bims Block AAC can also provide many architectural features and may
enhance and project a unique image for the building and it's owner.
